Together, we have lived the life of a child, a mother, a parent, a grandmother, a housewife, a single parent, and a divorced/single again person. We know the comfort and the hassle that comes from an extended family...that third cousin twice removed from great, great granddaddy's side.
We've had a turn at being a Sunday School director, a youth leader, a teacher, a nurse, a business administrator, a supervisor, a manager, and a human resources specialist. We've been happily married, unhappily married, abused, divorced, abandoned, and widowed.
We've been hired, fired, jobless, self employed, and business owner/operator. We have been at poverty level struggling for survival and financially well-to-do while still seeking that 'something' for fulfillment.
We have been a school dropout as well as a graduate from a major University. We've been a counselor, a bookkeeper, a sales clerk, a friend, a marketer, and a cook.
We've been loving, kind, patient and giving as well as callous, hateful and mean.
We've given birth and watched over the death of a loved one. We've reared and cared for so-called normal children as well those special little people with handicaps of cerebral palsy, ADHD and autism.
We've sought direction knowing there had to be that special purpose for which we exist and, together, have reached decisions that brought us peace and understanding while believing that
spiritual guidance has been received.
We bring our written words to the world in hope that someone will benefit from them. Our work can be somewhat entertaining, but, hopefully, it can also be inspiring for someone struggling with the hardships that life can deliver.
